A family that wanted to take their picture with me between Tiananmen and the Forbidden City:

Lion! Isn't she cute? (You can tell it's a she because she's playing with a cub. The male lions have their paw on a big sphere.) At Tiananmen:

This totally awesome lake of full of lily pads at MSRA's family day. There were all these different bridges to the island. The one the girl in pink is on looks easier than it is; at the ends it's constrained to be flattish, but as you walk in the middle it pretty much folds in half and is much less stable.
