Oh yeah...

I forgot about some of the other changes in Beijing for the Olympics. My friends and roommates are warning me that a lot of the clubs and markets are shutting down. Who wants the foreigners to be able to have fun partying and buying cheap knockoffs? Not the Olympic Committee, apparently. Sunny Gold market will be gone after Friday, which means I have Wednesday and possibly Friday to get there again, because Tuesdays and Thursdays are Chinese glass in the early evening, and tonight I'm going to go see an excellent movie. And then probably spending the rest of the night at the office, because I have to do my recordings in top-secret. Or, you know, when it isn't noisy. Anyhow, if anyone wants Olympic merchandise, you'd better tell me now, because after this week I might have to pay the actual outrageous prices for it.
